Student Teacher Education Program

In 2018 we introduced the DanceStep student teacher education program into our studio.

DanceStep is a 4 year student teacher program that guides students to be leaders and role models.  It covers assistant teaching skills such as behavior management, different learning needs and styles, and anatomy to name a few.  The program empowers students to take care of others.  Assistant teachers are given a Theory workbook for each level that is tailored to the learning needs and age of students.  All students start at Level One regardless of whether they have assisted before.   Whether considering a career in dance teaching or otherwise, this program is a great preparation for many aspects of life.
